They wanted to make a difference in the world for themselves and for future generations, and organic products made lovingly were at a premium. So they developed their own wonderful, healing creams. I use all of these products. The hair tonic is a wonderful skin conditioner as well - apply it after a shower while your skin is still wet. To keep hair from drying out at night, massage a small amount into your hair and scalp. Use it to nourish your hair by massaging a tablespoon full (for shoulder length hair) into your hair and scalp, placing a plastic bag over your head and a hat or scarf over that and leaving it on for an hour. Then shampoo as usual. There's a jar of salve in almost every room of our home and I use it often, especially during the dry winter months.
